BIOGRAPHY
Turkish soprano Dilay Girgin gratuated successfully from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, Opera Department with jumping higher class and ranked first in The Conservatory.She made her debut with the role Amore in Paride ed Elena opera by C.W. Gluck in the very first Turkey performance with Ars Nova Opera Company when she was 19 years old. In the ceremony of “Survival of Canakkale in World War One” in 2009, in an organization of Turkish Naval Forces, she sang the soprano solo of “Vasıf Adıgüzel – 18 March Canakkale Oratorio”. In 2010, she had a concert with Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra as a soloist under great English conductor Peter ash.
After she became an ensemble member in Opera Studio Nederland 2011-2012 season in Amsterdam, she sang Musetta in La Bohème, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Yniold in Pelleas et Melisande and Proserpina/Enone in Charpentier's Orfeo productions. She also sang in Rotterdam Operadagen 2012 in many concert performances, as well as in The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam with Opera Studio Nederland.
